In Need of a Crochet Buddy

I search the web for updated crochet designs almost everyday of my life and I spend hours and hours of looking for cool and up-beat patterns that I could work on, and to my dismay. So I was thinking, maybe I am destined to meet a crochet buddy? A crochet buddy that's really into crochet and does nothing in his or her life but crochet, like crochet-is-my-life type of buddy. The reason why I am in need of a crochet buddy is because, lately, I am quite frustrated with the crochet patterns available in the web for FREE. It's raining tons of crochet pattern links but really, nothing that interests me so far. There are cool patterns for sale in Etsy Shops and I'd say they are really cool as in COOL, and it is just that I am not ready yet to get addicted to those cool patterns and declare myself broke or bankrupt in no time.

So here I am saying, I AM IN NEED OF A CROCHET BUDDY. If you are interested, please let me know. =)

Beautiful Crochet Skirt Project

Out of sheer imagination and the desire to wear another beautiful skirt but this time a skirt that's personally handcrafted, I started a crochet skirt project about 6 months ago. I don't have a plan with the stitches but i just bumped into a beautiful stitch pattern in the internet which led me to create my first skirt.

I've been silent for a long while, the reason? I forgot the email ad for which I registered this blog hehe... but now that I recovered my user account, I promise I'm gonna be putting more crochet updates in here!

What happened during the weekend…

I should be finishing the bikini, but I unfortunately went out of black thread! Due to some inherent laziness, I decided to stay home and get the thread during working days. Just thinking of the dilemma looking for a space in the mall's parking lot has made me decide to stay put.

Inadvertently, I made crochet balls. Original plan was, take a photo of the colorful crochet balls and have it on my multiply site. Apparently though, I was carried away that I'm posting it here as well – to justify that I did something over the weekend (though I really started doing these balls later today).

I did these for three hours...

Update on my Thursday Project

Last night I started with the bikini... It will take me three days to complete it flawlessly I think...Be posting it here soon.

Thursday Project

Yesterday, being at home earlier than the usual, I thought of doing something ambitious ;)

Okay, here's the story... I can do all the accessories in the world but making a crochet bikini top? Surely takes bravery... nevertheless, I gave it a try, told myself I can do this and just believed in my guts.

I did this without a pattern, but I based the measurements in my own bikini top. I'll be completing this tonight... I'll be posting my progress :)

3 New Flowers and a Leaf

I was so fortunate to find a 100 flower patterns via torrent last week. During the weekend, as I recall my promise to Miss Tin, I made three 4 new embellishments of which 3 are flower variety, and the other a clover leaf.

I'm still finding this hobby therapeutic. Goody.Will try to work on other flower patterns soon...
